Litespeed's First Titanium Rocket For Women

Sunday, 3rd October 2004

This autumn TriSportNews will be road testing the race-quality Litespeed 2005 Bella.  From the Italian word for "beautiful", the 2005 BELLA is Litespeed's "first titanium rocket" that is made specifically for women. The geometry of this 3Al/2.5V Geometrically Enhanced Tubing (G.E.T.) frame is set up for the typically longer legs and shorter torso and reach of female riders.

Litespeed have also added female-specific componentry. Shimano 105 provides most of the components including their short reach leavers for smaller hands, although Litespeed have swapped the chainset for FSA's Gossamer Compact.  The Bella also includes the Terry Butterfly saddle.

Litespeed promises the female rider all the features that are hallmarks of Titanium, such as excellent strength to weight ratio, inherent vibration dampening, and geometry that should give razor sharp handling.

Litespeed claims that no other women's specific bike offers a similar combination of durability, resistance to corrosion, lightness, smoothness and comfort.  We can't wait to find out!

The Bella is available in 5 sizes: XS, S, M, L, and XL.  And the colour is just "bella".  For further details check www.litespeed.com.
