Richard Allen Wins "Loch", Stock and ...

Richard Allen has brought his 2004 season to a close with another victory at the Channel 4 televised Loch Tay Adventure Triathlon.

Richard in his first off-road MTB based triathlon this year stormed to victory over the competition, in the unique format event in which each discipline is contested individually with a break in between.

Following on from this unfortunately, Richard is having to take an enforced break to have surgery on his nasal passages as a result of the pneumonia he suffered earlier this year, meaning that he is not able to compete at this year's Ironman Hawaii event, and in turn this brings an end to his UK season.

As a result you can all expect over the coming weeks a review of 2004: results, coverage, etc. and outline of plans for 2005...
