On Test - Asics Women's Footwear - 2100 and Cumulus VI
Monday, 14th March 2005
Asics has been developing sporting goods for more than 50 years. A period that has seen many changes and allowed Asics to gain vast amounts of experience. One thing that hasn't changed though is Asics enthusiasm for technology. At the Research and Development Centre in Kobe (Japan), 200 people work on the newest technologies. They study and analyse the movements of the human body and new materials get tested. Athletes practicing their sport at any level, agree that sportswear should be of high quality, functional, flexible and practical. Obviously all this research and Asics constant dialogue with athletes enables them to continuously improve the shoe and apparel collection, in response to athletes needs. Asics is currently the fifth largest sport brand worldwide and the preferred brand for many professional athletes.
