Dear All

Another successful month.  After winning the National Middle Distance Champs a month ago, I competed in (for training purposes predominantly) the National Duathlon Champs and finished 7th.  Then the Royal Windsor Triathlon finishing 11th and in the process getting selected for the Salford World Cup race at the end of July.  Unfortunately, with the Long Distance World Champs a week later I have withdrawn from the race so that I can concentrate solely on the Worlds.

This weekend just gone I competed in the European Long Distance Championships and had a fantastic result finishing 3rd.  I have used this race as preparation for the Worlds and so no taper for this race,  I am hoping I can be in even better shape for the World Champs next month, with a bit more hard training and a good taper.

Next up is an ITU series race in Czechoslovakia, then the World Champs in Denmark on 7th August.

Thanks again for all your support.
