The following Duathlon events were announced today as being awarded status as National Championships, National Ranking Events and/or World Qualifying events.

• ITU World Duathlon Qualifying Event

30 April 2006        Cambridge Duathlon

• National Ranking Series
• ITU World Duathlon Qualifying Event

13 May 2006         Edinburgh Duathlon

• National Ranking Series
• ITU World Duathlon Qualifying Event
• National Duathlon Championships

Note: Edinburgh is the venue for the 2007 ETU European Duathlon Championships

29 May 2006         White Rose Duathlon

• National Ranking Series
