Ashbourne Duathlon & World Championships Qualifications

Ashbourne Duathlon take place this Saturday (8th April) at Carsington Water, Ashbourne. The race is the first of three qualifiers for the ITU World Duathlon Championships in Canada as well as being part of the British Triathlon National Ranking Series and the National Police Championships.
The event is a 12K off road rolling run, an undulating 40K bike ride in the Derbyshire Dales followed by a flat out and back 4K run. Places are still available but hurry, as the event is filling fast. If you are interested in competing at the ITU World Duathlon Championships, Age Group qualifying forms will be available on Saturday at morning registration. Pre-qualifiers, and those seeking a team slot at Ashbourne, need to have notified British Triathlon by 1st April. For those looking to qualify at Cambridge then notification is by 22nd April and for those seeking a place at Edinburgh then your notification must be received by 6th May.
