3 Scots in Action at University Tri Championships

Scot's triathlete Fraser Cartmell clinched 2nd spot in the British University Triathlon Championships in Wiltshire at the weekend. Finishing behind Will Clarke (7th at the recent Commonwealth Games in Melbourne) by just 13 seconds his podium finish prevented a clean sweep for Loughborough University, who took 1st and 3rd spots in the men's race and swept the board in the women's race.

Also racing at the event were brother Blair Cartmell (who finished 14th) and Stuart Fraser (19th), representing Stirling University. In a field with over 217 competitors all 3 Scots top 20 finishes augur well for the future.
