Bayliss and Comerford Go For A Brazilian!!!
Saturday, 27th May 2006
Britain's Stephen Bayliss and Bella Comerford are all set for their first Brazilian Ironman experiences as they tackle the Florianopolis Island route this Sunday (May 28th, 2006 at 7am local time).
Following a tough race at Ironman Arizona both Bayliss and Comerford are looking to build upon successes earlier in the season including Stephen's Hawaii qualification at IM New Zealand.
Comerford will be making her first outing on her fabulous new Argon 18 Mercury bike (http://www.argon18bike.com/en/mercury.htm) which she hopes will carry her to victory on the relatively flat bike course.
Though the competition will be tough for both of them with the elite fields in both the men's and women's races containing last years champions Olaf Sabatchus and Joanna Zeiger. (See below for complete start lists).
