A decade since the inaugural event, XTERRA is being held for the first time in the UK's Vale of Neath in Wales on the weekend of September 2nd/3rd 2006.  The UK event weekend also sees a host of MTB and running races taking place. (Full details at event website www.xterra.co.uk)

The Neath event includes the UK qualifier for the Nissan XTERRA world championship in Maui, Hawaii, 26th October 2006 with 34 age group qualifying slots and additional Pro-athlete slots available, not to mention £20,000 in prize money and prizes. XTERRA UK is also the final event of the XTERRA European series where the championship title will be awarded.
