All Rhodes Returns to Sherborne!

IRONMAN UK 2005 Champions Bryan Rhodes and Rebecca Preston return to Sherborne Castle on August 20th to defend their IRONMAN UK titles.

Rhodes returns after last years stunning performance and is a late addition to the field. Rhodes performance last year obliterated a high quality professional field as he dominated all three disciplines and led almost from the gun.

Preston returns to the UK after a recent victory at IRONMAN Austria where she defeated the returning Lori Bowden, a two-time IRONMAN World Champion. Whilst Preston may lack the element of surprise this year, her undoubted skill will make her the women to beat.

Ron Thorne, Race Director of IRONMAN UK comments: We are very pleased that these athletes are retuning to IRONMAN UK. They have been great ambassadors for the race and who can forget the stunning shots of Bryan crossing the line last year!

IRONMAN UK returns to Sherborne, Dorset on August 20th 2006 and consists of a 2.4mile swim, 112 mile bike and 26.2mile run.
