Elbaman Entries Open for 30 September 2007

Elbaman Triathlon is growing. After only 2 successful editions of Italy's only iron distance race, there is increased interest from around the world and the organizers are happy to receive entries from all of the 2006 finishers in Elba Island in October.

The location is fantastic for a triathlon, the 3rd (as extension) Italian Island is surrounded by a clear sea with thousands of sandy beaches and the terrain is varied with climbs, flat and rolling roads.

The race has moved to a new date (30 September) where all of you will find the most perfect weather you can imagine with sun, warm temperatures and an extremely low possibility of wind.
It is already possible to enter the race and there are different options to enter as an individual, a team of 5 or more or relay team. Until 31 December the fee is discounted and you can easily enter the race downloading the form from the website or online with Credit Card payment with Activeurope or PayPal service.

The 2007 course will be the same as 2006.  A two lap swim inside the Marina di Campo bay, a unique environment in a calm and repaired bay.

The bike course consists of three laps where you can see the most fantastic panorama you can imagine rounding around all the east cost of the island. The course includes 2 main climbs and rolling roads with a challenging short climb and downhill.  There on three aid stations on on the three-lap bike course.

The run course consists of 5 laps on completely flat roads inside the Marina di Campo town.  Four aid stataions are situated on each lap.  The strength of the race is the location, the professional organization inside a friendly environment where everyone will feel like a special guest.
