ITU Triathlon World Championships 2007

All triathletes hoping to qualify for either the Sprint or the Standard Distance event at this year's ITU Triathlon World Championships in Hamburg should please note that the Race Organisers have issued a revised schedule, and both Championships will now take place on the same day. The date of both Championships is Sunday September 2nd.

It is not possible to take part in both the Sprint and the Standard Distance Championships. You can apply for both, and qualify for both, but you are only allowed to race in one.

Friday, 31 August
ITU Junior Women World Championships
ITU Junior Men World Championships
ITU U23 Women World Championships
ITU U23 Men World Championships

Saturday, 1 September
Open Triathlon Sprint Distance & Olympic Distance
ITU Elite Women World Championships

Sunday, 2 September
ITU Age Group World Championships Sprint Distance
ITU Age Group World Championships Standard Distance
ITU AWAD World Championships
ITU Elite Men World Championships

Several people have already applied for both events and, in most cases, this is probably a safeguard so that if you don't qualify at one distance you can still qualify for the other.
