Spencer Smith Injured

Triathlete Magazine is reporting that British Triathlete, Spencer Smith, is at home recovering after having spent two days in hospital in New Jersey. He was was involved in an accident whilst out training on his bike with a sports utility vehicle. Smith was apparently pinned underneath the vehicle until the driver reversed the car, freeing him. Smith sustained a number of injuries including four broken ribs, a broken clavicle plus gashes, which required sutures, and road rash. His bike was written off in the accident.
