Marc Jenkins Progressing

Sunday, 12th June 2005
Marc Jenkins whose Triathlon career and life have been put at risk by deep vein thrombosis is reported to be making good progress and has high hopes of competing at the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Speaking to the BBC, Marc said "I am facing a long break... I'll now have two-to-three months of resting, sleeping and watching TV while the blood clots clear themselves and the doctors do some more research...now that the DVT can be managed, I think I can give myself a real opportunity in next year's Commonwealth Games in Melbourne."
