Richard Stannard Appointed Chair of International Athletes Commission

British International Triathlete, Richard Stannard has been appointed Chair of the International Triathlon Union's Athlete's Commission following the resignation of Joe Umphenour from the USA. Richard represented Triathlon at the 2nd International Athletes' Forum which took place in Lausanne, Olympic Capital on the 11th and 12th June 2005 and gathered together members of the Olympic family including active and former athletes and representatives from International Sports Federations and National Olympic Committees.
