It Starts Today in Seven Year's Time!

In seven years time today, the Olympic flame will be carried into the Olympic Stadium in Stratford, London to mark start of the 2012 Olympic Games. Triathlon will be at the heart of the 2012 games with the swim in the Serpentine; the cycle passing some of London's iconic landmarks including Trafalgar Square and Buckinham Palace; and the run being held in Hyde Park. Triathlon will also gain from the legacy of the games with a new generation of young triathletes inspired and a wonderful centre of excellence for Triathlon based in the Olympic Park. The park will include an aquatics centre, cycling centre, athletics track, institute of sport and new routes for cycling and running. Today, Camelot launch the Olympic scratchcard which will help raise funding for the games.
