Tomlinson Girls Take Up the Baton in Salford
Monday, 25th July 2005
Jane Tomlinson's daughters will follow in her footsteps when they take part in the open race at this Sunday's Salford Triathlon ITU World Cup. With their mother laid up with a broken ankle, Jane Tomlinson's daughters have decided to fundraise on her behalf. Suzanne and Rebecca Tomlinson, along with their father, Mike, will represent Jane's Appeal. The girls have asked that, for one month only, money raised will go to the West Africa crisis appeal. Sunday will also see the largest international fields to date contest the Salford ITU World Cup men's and women's races as the race builds its standing as one of the World's premier Olympic distance triathlon races. This years race also incorporates the British Elite Triathlon Championships.
