British Long Distance Women Win Team Gold

Great Britain's elite women's long distance triathlon team took gold in the team event at the ITU World Championships held in Fredericia, Denmark, today. Abigail Bayley was first home in 7th place in a time of 6:37:22. Bella Comerford finished 11th in 6:44:23 and Rachel Horn 13th in 6:47:59. The USA took second team and Denmark 3rd place. Anne Fallows finished 33rd whilst Sara Gross and Louisa Edmonston failed to complete the course. In the men's event, Stephen Bayliss was 13th, Russell Kober 23rd, and Nick Saunders 31st.
