Richard Allen Tenth in Chicago

The Chicago Triathlon with 7,500 participants is vying with the London Triathlon to be the World's largest triathlon event. As with London the event attracts strong elite, age group and novice fields. Great Britain triathlete, Richard Allen, placed tenth in the men's elite race held yesterday. The race was won by Hamish Carter (Nzl) in 1:49:55, with Hunter Kemper (USA) 2nd in 1:49:59, Bev Docherty (Nzl) 3rd in 1:50:14 and Richard Allen 10th in 1:53:42.
