Thuerig Defends World Cycling Title

Ironmanlive.com reports that Karin Thuerig got so sick of coaches telling her that she needed to quit waffling and either be a cyclist, or a triathlete, that she decided to coach herself this year. The results? Her second Ironman win in Switzerland in July, and a successful defence of her World Time Trial Championship in Madrid on Wednesday.
