Snowsill Wins Commonwealth Triathlon

Emma Snowsill; the best all round endurance athlete in the World; has won the Commonwealth Games in style. Running out of the second transition as one of a lead pack of thirteen women, she totally dominated the run, easing away from the opposition to win the Commonwealth title. The 24-year-old from the Gold Coast, who won the world championship last September in Japan, draped herself in the Australian flag to the cheers of the Melbourne faithful before lifting the finish tape over her head and to win gold for Australia.
