National Aquathlon Championships Report

The British National Aquathlon Championships were contested in blustery conditions on the Salford Quays, less than 24 hours before the Elite Triathlon competition. A good sized crowd lined the transition and finish areas outside the Salford Watersports Centre, with every competitor applauded home. Men's winner was Andy Tarry while the women's winner was Maria Barret. Youth champions were crowned as Sam Nutall and Lucy Hall, whilst Sam Hunt and Harriet Hart took the honours in the Junior race. Age Group medal presentations were made by Murray Bean from British Triathlon's new Premier Sponsor, Corus.
