Morrison Captures World Duathlon Title

Great Britain's Catriona Morrison took the ITU World Duathlon title in Cornerbrook today (Sunday). She lead the race through all three stages to finish 3:21 minutes ahead of the rest of the field. Morrsion, runner up in last year's championships and silver medalist in this year's long course championships completed the course in 2:04:18. In the junior men's race, Great Britain's Alistair Brownlee finished second behind Steven Duplinsky of the United States. Duplinsky the reigning World Junior Triathlon Champion.
