Budapest to hold 2010 World Championships

It has been announced this afternoon that Budapest in Hungary has beaten Salford's bid for the 2010 World Championships. This is clearly disappointing following the fabulous success of British Triathlon's athletes over the previous week. British Triathlon would like to take this opportunity to thank Salford City Council for the continual support of the Salford ITU race and wish Budapest well in preparation for the event.
