British Women's Results From Hamburg

Portuguese triathlete, Vanessa Fernandes, won today's BG ITU World Cup race in Hamburg. The World Championship silver medallist held off New Zealand's Debbie Tanner to take an impressive victory with Laura Bennett from the USA taking third. The British contingent were led home by Andrea Whitcombe, who ran herself into 15th place after a poor swim. Michelle Dillon, who was second in the Monaco Half-Ironman last week, finished 26th with Anneliese Heard in 28th.
