Scots Triathlete Battles Heat and Humidity in Hong Kong Tri

Wednesday, 18th October 2006
Scots Elite Triathlete Andrew Fargus racing in the Hong Kong ITU Asian World Cup Triathlon at the weekend, missed out on a podium spot by just under 70 seconds and had to eventually settle for 6th place. After a great start to the race (Andrew came out of the water stage in 2nd spot), battled all the way but the extreme heat (31C) and humidity(90%) clearly took there toll during the cycle and run stages of the race. This was a terrific result given the strong field consisting two ex-world number 1's and a former Olympic Medalist.
