2007 ITU World Aquathlon Championships to be in Mexico

The 2007 ITU Aquathlon World Championships will be held in Ixtapa, Mexico on May 12th. Traditionally the aquathlon world championships are held in conjunction with the triathlon world championships but because of the tight urban setting and scheduling at the 2007 triathlon championships in Hamburg, organisers are unable to host the event.
