Top Places Escape GB Squad in Mooloolaba

Great Britain's elite triathletes failed to make a top ten places in the opening round of the 2007 ITU BG World Cup series held in Mooloolaba, Australia. The race, which attracted many of the World's leading triathletes, saw wins from the host nation through Emma Snowsill and Brad Kahlefeldt. The leading British performances came from Richard Stannard who placed 17th in the men's race and Andrea Whitcombe who was 16th in the women's race. Helen Tucker was 20th, Leanda Cave 21st, and Stuart Hayes 26th. Michelle Dillon and Liz Blatchford retired.
