British Triathlon Delighted with Glasgow 2014 Decision

The decision to award Glasgow the 2014 Commonwealth Games ensures that triathlon will feature on the sporting programme. British Triathlon's Corus Elite Series visited the proposed 2014 triathlon venue, Strathclyde Park, in May. The park hosted some exciting racing over a testing course and was praised by the athletes. North Lanarkshire Council, Event Scotland and Glasgow 2014 were instrumental in ensuring that the race was a success.
